2010 | 1 year ago It’s one of those days. You know the drill…things start off strong and then just sort of fizzle out. The museum was good today, but my head is swimming with questions about grad school and things of that nature and so now I kind of have a headache.
I was given a free novel today on campus. Wild Animus. From the description on the back, I feel it will turn out to be both confusing and bizarre, should I choose to read it. “A Bliss Beyond Fear,” the back page reads in bold, capital letters. Hmm…maybe after finals.
I was going to get a haircut today, because after allowing it to grow out (from being maybe 2” long) it’s developing this strange sort of bob/mullet hybrid which I do not approve of. So I’ve kept it in a bun for weeks because then everything looks normal. But once I got home, and crawled in bed and got all warm, the thought of running outside into the rain and driving in the car and waiting in line at a salon just to get back in the car and drive to work later sounded incredibly unappealing. I guess I’ll just deal with the bun for now…
Grocery shopping tonight. (Good thing, too. 1 tortilla, 1/2 bottle bleu cheese dressing, and mostly-gone Nutella being all you have left just doesn’t cut it, honestly).
I wish it looked like May outside and not September. This is ridiculous.
